Agent Disclosure Statement
Contempo College may engage authorised education agents to assist with marketing and student recruitment activities.
All education agents acting on behalf of Contempo College are required to comply with Contempo College policies and procedures, the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015, and Australian Consumer Law.
Contempo College retains full responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all information provided to prospective and enrolled students, regardless of whether recruitment activities are undertaken directly by ContempoCollege or through an authorised agent.
Students who believe they have been provided with misleading or inaccurate information by an education agent may lodge a complaint in accordance with Contempo College’s Complaints and Appeals Policy, available on this website.
Agent Code of Conduct
Contempo College is committed to ethical, transparent, and lawful recruitment practices. All authorised education agents representing Contempo College must comply with this Code of Conduct.
1.Ethical Behaviour
Agents must act honestly, professionally, and in the best interests of students at all times.
2.Accurate Information
Agents must provide only current, accurate, and approved information regarding:
- Courses and qualifications
- Entry requirements
- Fees, refunds, and payment conditions
- Delivery methods and duration.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Agents must not:
- Guarantee employment, visa, migration, or licensing outcomes
- Misrepresent course duration or assessment requirements
- Promote training products not on Contempo College’s approved scope
- Offer inducements or apply pressure to enrol
4. Transparency
Agents must clearly identify themselves as authorised representatives of Contempo College and refer students to the College for confirmation of official information.
5. Compliance Obligations
Agents must comply with:
- Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015
- Australian Consumer Law
- All relevant Contempo College policies and procedures
6. Breaches
Breaches of this Code may result in suspension or termination of agent authorisation.
